Before we became Australian residents, Neil had to leave the country every 3 months to renew his visa. A quick trip to NZ for Em's birthday weekend was just the job.

United Kingdom Apr 2004

Our visa was granted at last and we returned to the UK to pick it up from the embassy. We spent a few weeks visiting friends and family before heading back to Oz as Permanent Residents.

Taking advantage of Em's free flights we headed off to Hobart and spent a few days in the back of beyond.

Singapore & Indonesia Apr 2005

We still had the return leg of the flight from the UK from April 2004 to use up... but not the time or money to go all the way back. So we took the flight as far as SIngapore and spent a week basically chilling out under the equatorial sun.
